Gaya: A youth was killed after being hit by Gandhidham express while he was allegedly making reels on the railway tracks near eastern cabin of Tankuppa railway station on Gaya-Koderma rail line of the Grand Chord Section on Monday morning. However, no case was lodged at government rail police station, Gaya, in this connection.
The deceased identified as Ankit Kumar (18) of village Prahlad Bigha under Tankuppa police station had come home only four days back for wedding of his sister scheduled on July 13.
Elder among two brothers, Ankit worked in a private firm at Bengaluru. He was fond of making reels. Monday morning too he was busy making reels on the tracks near eastern cabin of Tankuppa station with earphone stuffed in his ears.
