Khagaria: A 19-year-old youth died by suicide by shooting himself with a country made gun at Sanhauli village under Chitragupta Nagar police station of Khagaria town on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Preetam Kumar, son of Vijai Pathak of Saidpur village under Naugachhia police station in Bhagalpur district, He sustained serious bullet injuries and was admitted to the sadar hospital from where he was referred to Begusarai for better treatment. However, he succumbed to injuries while on way to Begusarai. SHO Sintu Kumar said the cause of the suicide was yet to be ascertained. An unnatural death case has been registered in this connection, the SHO added.
