BENGALURU: Bengaluru city police on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old-youth on charges of posting a video and making seditious comments, including hateful remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The accused has been identified as F Navaz, who was staying in a paying guest accommodation in Mangammanapalya in Bandepalya, in the southeastern part of the city.Navaz, who repairs ACs, refrigerators, and TVs, had posted a video on social media questioning why no bombs were falling on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s house.He was speaking about India’s recent action against terrorists in Pakistan.“Why disturb the innocent citizens? why no bomb falls on Modi’s house?” Navaz said in the video.Acting suo-motu, cops registered a case and arrested him. He was produced before a local court and the court remanded him to the judicial custody of Bengaluru central prison.
