West Bengal Class 12th result 2025: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the Class 12 or Higher Secondary (HS) examination results for the 2024–25 academic session today, on May 7, at 12:30 PM. The official announcement will be made during a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata.Following the declaration, the results will be made available to students from 2:00 PM on the official portals — wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in.Candidates must keep their roll numbers and dates of birth ready to access the result dashboard.The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from March 3 to March 18, 2025, across various centres in the state. More than 8 lakh students appeared for the examination.

How to access WB result through SMS?

Students without internet access may retrieve their results via SMS by typing WB12Roll Number and sending the message to 56070. The result will be delivered via text message.

Marksheet and certificate distribution from May 8

WBCHSE has confirmed that hard copies of mark sheets and pass certificates will be dispatched to 55 distribution centres across the state. School authorities have been instructed to collect these from 10:00 AM on May 8, 2025, and distribute them to students the same day.

Revaluation and scrutiny

Students dissatisfied with their scores will be permitted to apply for revaluation or scrutiny of answer scripts. The application window will open shortly after the result announcement. Details regarding the process and deadlines will be published on the official WBCHSE portals.
