Water cut in parts of western suburbs | Mumbai News – Times of India


MUMBAI: Parts of Andheri-east and west, Jogeshwari, Vile Parle and Goregaon will experience a water cut on May 29-30, said the BMC.
This is because work has been proposed to be undertaken in K/East ward for a period of 16 hours for the cross-connection of two new main water lines and the discarding of an old one. This work will commence from 9 am on May 29 and will be completed at 1 am on May 30.
Due to this work there will be low-pressure water supply in some areas of K/West and P/South wards and no supply in some parts of K/East, P/South, and K/West wards.Areas that will be affected include Tripathi Nagar, Munshi Colony, Bastiwala Compound, Collector Colony, Durga Nagar, Matoshree Club in K east ward, Bimbisar Nagar, Vanrai, State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) Camp, Bandrekar Wadi in P south ward and C. D. Barfiwala Road, Upashray Lane, S. V. Road Andheri, Dawood Baug (Garden), Kevni Pada, Dhakusheth Pada, Malcum Baug (Garden), Andheri Market, Bhardawadi in K west ward.
