Ara: Acting on a tip-off, Bhojpur police on Thursday evening arrested a wanted criminal, Putush Rai alias Ravi Rai, of Mahadevchak Semariya village under the Koilwar police station area of Bhojpur district. Bhojpur SP said on Friday, “Putush was wanted in nine cases registered with the Koelwar police station of the district. The police seized a country-made pistol and 10 live cartridges from his possession.” A case under the relevant sections of the Arms Act has been registered with the Koilwar police station in this regard.
