VIP Party Chief’s Father Brutally Murdered in Darbhanga | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief and former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahani’s father Jitan Sahani (70) was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants in Darbhanga district. The mutilated body of Sahani was found at his ancestral house in Afjala panchayat of Supaul Bazar under Ghanshyampur police station area in Darbhanga on Tuesday morning.
After getting information about the incident, Mukesh, who is popularly known as ‘son of mallah’ in Bihar, arrived Darbhanga from Mumbai.Sahani’s VIP is now a part of the opposition INDIA bloc.
Biraul DSP Manish Chandra Choudhary, along with other officers from Biraul police station, reached the place of occurrence and began investigation. The DSP said that Jitan was attacked and killed with a sharp-edged weapon by unidentified criminals, who broke into his house on late Monday night. “The initial investigation suggests that he was killed by the intruders, who allegedly entered the house with the intention of burglary,” he added.
