VIP chief Mukesh Sahani confirms alliance with Tejashwi Yadav for Bihar elections | – Times of India
Patna: Clearing the air amid speculations that he may switch sides ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) president Mukesh Sahani on Wednesday said he would fight the next polls under the leadership of Rashtriya Janada Dal’s (RJD) Tejashwi Prasad Yadav as part of the INDIA bloc. Sahani’s VIP too is part of the INDIA bloc.
“I am with Tejashwi Yadav and will fight the next elections as part of the INDIA bloc,” Sahani told media on Wednesday, asserting, “My fight is for change.”
The speculations arose after Sahani changed his profile photo on a social media handle with a picture of national tricolour, and two state NDA ministers, Mohammad Zama Khan and Madan Sahani, claimed that the VIP chief will switch over his loyalty soon.
