Vigilance raid on officer in Koraput | Bhubaneswar News

Koraput: Vigilance officers raided eight locations linked to Surendra Tanti, assistant revenue inspector (ARI)-cum-incharge revenue inspector (RI) of Kumuli circle under Borigumma tehsil in Koraput on Thursday following allegations of Tanti possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The operation involved three deputy superintendents of police (DSPs), seven inspectors, five assistant sub-inspectors, and other supporting staff.
According to a vigilance release, the searches were conducted at a double-storeyed residential building in Borigumma, Tanti’s house in his native village Ranaspur and a relative’s house in Kamta. Other properties under scrutiny included a two-storeyed building owned by a relative, a two-storeyed market complex, and another building in Borigumma, along with Tanti’s official chamber at Kumuli.
