Vehicle of BJP MLC attacked in Buxar | Patna News – Times of India
Buxar: Miscreants allegedly attacked the vehicle of BJP MLC from Gopalganj, Rajeev Kumar alias Gappu Babu, at Kushahi village under Rajpur police station of the district on Sunday evening. The incident occurred when the MLC was returning to Buxar after campaigning in different villages of Rajpur assembly seat.
An FIR was lodged with Rajpur police against several people.
Police said five identified people have made accused in the FIR lodged by one Jaiprakash Narayan Rai, who was accompanying the MLC in the vehicle at the time of incident.
SHO Rajpur Santosh Kumar said one Mukesh Kumar has been arrested in this regard.
According to the FIR, a group of miscreants attacked the vehicle and pelted stones on the MLC’s vehicle around 6pm. Rai alleged in the FIR that the attackers were supporters of the RJD nominee Sudhakar Singh.
