UPSC Prelims 2025 exams today: Mobiles, electronic devices banned at centres | Prayagraj News

Prayagraj: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2025 is scheduled to take place on Sunday in two shifts. In preparation for this coveted examination, a comprehensive training session was conducted under the chairmanship of district magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar.The training session was held at the AMA auditorium of the city and attended by sector magistrates, static magistrates, and centre supervisors. The attendees were briefed on examination protocols and security measures. The officials were specifically instructed to maintain strict vigilance and follow all guidelines laid out by the commission.One of the key directives emphasised during the training was that candidates will not be allowed entry into centres 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. Additionally, mobile phones and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the centres. Centre supervisors were tasked with informing invigilators thoroughly about the rules and ensuring their implementation on the ground.A team from the Union Public Service Commission was also present during the session, underscoring the importance of coordination and adherence to protocol. The DM instructed all sector magistrates to remain mobile and regularly monitor their assigned centres during to promptly address any issues.This year, the examination will be conducted at 104 centres across the city, with a total of 41,364 candidates expected to appear. To oversee the arrangements, 41 sector magistrates and 104 static magistrates have been appointed.Additional district magistrate (city) Satyam Mishra and other senior officials also participated in the training session. The administration has assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to conduct the exam in a peaceful and orderly manner, reaffirming their commitment to a fair and transparent examination process.
