UPSC (pre) exam held across 104 centres under tight vigil | Prayagraj News

Prayagraj: Amid tight security arrangements, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services preliminary examination was held on Sunday at 104 centres in Sangam city.The exam was conducted in two shifts.Senior police and administrative officials remained active throughout the day to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam. Officials said that ensuring a clean, malpractice-free, and peaceful environment for the civil services (preliminary) examination 2025 was the top priority of the police and administration. All officials concerned and magistrates remained alert, prepared, and committed towards the exams, the officials said.A total of 104 static magistrates and 41 sector magistrates were assigned duties.Divisional Commissioner (Prayagraj) Vijay Vishwas Pant visited and inspected the examination centres set up for the preliminary examination at Anglo Bengali Inter College, Bharat Scout Inter College, Jwala Devi Inter College, Kendriya Vidyalaya Old Cantt, IERT College, Jagat Taran Inter and Degree College, Mahila Seva Sadan and Naveen Mahila Seva Sadan Inter College, Crossweight Girls Inter College, Dwarka Prasad Girls Inter College, Government Girls Inter College, Meri Wana Maker Girls Inter College, Rani Revati Devi Saraswati Vidya Niketan Inter College, and Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission campus.He also inspected the functioning of CCTV cameras in the control room at the examination centres, lighting, drinking water, uninterrupted power supply and other arrangements.
