MUMBAI: After an overwhelming response to the first game, Uber expanded its free, air-conditioned Shuttle service for Mumbai Indians’ fans. Fans across Mumbai can now ride in comfort and cheer louder with seat-reserved Shuttles to and from Wankhede Stadium, an official from the company said on Thursday.
On every home match day, fans can skip traffic, parking woes, and last-minute ride searches and ride in style with Uber Shuttle.
Snehashish Nag, Head of Strategy, Uber Shuttle, said, “The response from MI Paltan was phenomenal. With expanded routes, Uber Shuttle is making it easier than ever for the fans to get to Wankhede—comfortably, reliably, and for free.”
To further encourage fans to leave their private vehicles behind, Uber also rolled out exclusive, limited number match-day promo codes for discounted ‘Uber Premier’ rides to and from the stadium.
