Mumbai: YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani arrived at the state’s cyber cell office to comply with official summons they have been sent in the derogatory program recorded in the ‘India’s Got Latent‘ case before it was removed after nationwide outrage. An officer from the cyber cell confirmed that Allahbadia and Chanchlani recorded their statements on Monday in the case that was registered against them and few others.
The cyber cell summoned Allahbadia on Feb 17 for questioning on Feb 24 regarding his controversial statement. The comment sparked nationwide outrage and social media criticism, including condemnation from Supreme Court.
