Chennai: Two men were arrested recently for possessing drug tablets and syringes. The Maduravoyal police seized 1,800 Tydol tablets and 10 syringes from them.
Based on a tip off, police conducted a surprise check underneath a flyover in Maduravoyal. They nabbed P Sanjay, 24, and R Karthikeyan, 24, residents of Nesapakkam near KK Nagar.
Inquiries revealed that the two of them had procured the drug tablets from Delhi and Mumbai through online courier and sold them to medical college students near the Maduravoyal flyover.
The arrested duo was produced before a magistrate court and remanded in judicial custody.
