Ara: Police on Saturday morning arrested two youths for allegedly opening fire at another youth at Majhauan locality under Ara Town police station area of Bhojpur district on Friday night. ASP-cum-Ara sadar SDPO Parichay Kumar said, “A quarrel broke out between two rival groups of the same locality over some issue. One Aashish Kumar (20) was shot at in his leg by the accused persons during the altercation. On being informed about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and launched raids for nabbing the culprits. We arrested Vishal Kumar and Atul Singh on Saturday morning. Though FIR has been lodged against six named persons, the two main accused have arrested. However, the raids are going on to nab the remaining four accused.”The ASP further added that the condition of Aashish, who received a bullet injury in his leg, is stable. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ara.
