Two drug peddlers fall off flyover while trying to escape from cops, suffer fractures | Chennai News – The Times of India

COIMBATORE: The Chettipalayam police in Coimbatore district have arrested two men who were supplying narcotic drugs to college students. The police seized 1.3 kg of ganja and three grams of methamphetamine from the duo, identified as M Deepanraj, 23, and N Hrithik Roshan, 21, of Ramanathapuram district.
Based on specific information, the police went to a flyover at JJ Nagar in Chettipalayam on Sunday. On seeing the police, the two men tried to escape on a two-wheeler. But they lost control of the motorcycle and fell off the flyover. Deepanraj sustained a fracture on his right leg while Roshan suffered a fracture on his right arm. They were admitted to hospital.
A preliminary inquiry revealed that the two men had supplied ganja and synthetic drugs to college students in Coimbatore district. They were also facing theft cases registered at Chettipalayam, Perur, Saravanampatti and three other police stations.
The police have collected a list of drug suppliers and users from the arrested men.
