Rourkela: The Raghunathpalli police here on Saturday arrested two for stealing cell phones. Of the two, one is a habitual snatcher and the other collects the stolen phones. Police have seized 49 phones from their possession.
On December 6, Ayushi Podar (16) of Panposh, Chhend lodged a complaint, alleging that on September 19 when she was going to her coaching centre, a man approached her from behind on a bike and snatched her mobile and fled. Raghunathpalli police registered the case and started a probe. “We have arrested the two and are investigating the case further,” said R Swain, inspector in-charge, Raghunathpalli police station.
