Two Arrested in Patna Burglary Case: Stolen Valuables Recovered | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Two miscreants were arrested on Saturday on charges of burgling a house at Mirzapur Nohta under the Fatuha police station area in Patna district. The police recovered some stolen valuables from them.
Nikhil Kumar, SDPO-I of Fatuha, said on November 2, the police received information that a burglary took place at the residence of Rishikesh Kumar, who went to his native place during the Diwali celebration. “When he returned home, he found that the lock of his house was broken and valuables like a television, laptop, Rs 10,000 in cash and jewellery were missing,” he said.
On receiving information, a team was formed under Fatuha SHO Rupak Kumar Ambuj. Based on technical evidence, the police arrested Aman Yadav and Vishal Yadav, both residents of Mirzapur Nohta. During interrogation, they accepted their crime and told the police that they sold the jewellery to Alok Thathera alias Lallu, who owns a jewellery shop at Govindpur.
“The police conducted a raid at the jewellery shop and recovered the stolen ornaments. The owner of the shop was arrested. We also recovered the television set from the robbers. All three arrested accused were sent to judicial custody,” Kumar said.
