Patna: The police on Friday arrested two youths from Patna City area for posting photos with firearms on social media. The arrests were made after the police received information about the youths uploading photos with pistols on social media platforms. Malasalami SHO, Rajkumar Singh said that the two youths, identified as Sikandar and Aditya Kumar alias Johnson, were arrested from different locations of Patna City.
“During interrogation, the youths revealed that they uploaded the photos to intimidate people and gain notoriety. The police have also recovered a pistol and live ammunition from the possession of the youths. The police are investigating the youths’ criminal history and are also probing whether they have any links with organised crime syndicates,” the SHO added.
