Twin city CBSE schools shine with 100% pass rate | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: CBSE-affiliated schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack once again demonstrated academic excellence, registering a 100% pass rate in both Class X and XII board examinations, the results of which were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday.School campuses across the twin cities buzzed with excitement as students gathered to celebrate their success, sharing sweets, posing for photos, and collecting mark sheets.“We are extremely proud of our students. Their hard work, resilience, and dedication have paid off. Teachers and parents also deserve credit for their consistent support throughout the year,” said Silpi Sahoo, chairperson ofSAI International Education Group. All students at the school scored above 60%.At KIIT International School, all 265 Class XII students passed with first division. Trisha Rath topped among humanities students and emerged as the regional topper with 99.4%. Among science students, Hans Daruka secured the highest score with 98.8%, while Dipti Sahu led commerce students with 98.6%. Remarkably, 104 students—nearly 40%—scored above 90%. In Class X, all 112 students passed with first division; 58 of them scored above 90%, with Uswastee Ubika Patsani topping the batch with 99%.Among special education needs (SEN) students, seven Class X students scored above 70%, while all four Class XII students scored above 80%, including one who secured 95%.DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, also posted impressive results. Out of 269 Class X students, 54 scored above 95%, 141 above 90%, and 260 above 60%. In Class XII science, all 332 students passed, with 90 scoring above 90% and 211 above 80%. Commerce and humanities streams also recorded a 100% pass rate.At Mother’s Public School, more than 27% of Class XII students across science, commerce, and humanities streams scored above 90%. The school maintained its 100% pass rate. In Class X, 69% of students scored over 90%, with Aarush Ayushman topping the batch at 99.4%.At DPS Kalinga, Jayaditya Pratihari secured the top position in Class X with 98.4%. In Class XII, Snehasis Das topped among science students with 97.4%, Samarth Khator led the commerce stream with 97%, and Anindita Panda topped humanities with 97.6%.Schools also used the moment to inspire younger students. “The performance of our outgoing batches sets a benchmark. It’s a moment of pride for the entire school community,” said Niharika Gantayat, principal of Lajpat Rai DAV Public School, Cuttack.
