CUDDALORE: A 42-year-old man has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a Class XII girl student at his tuition centre in a village in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.
The Vridhachalam all-women police said R Venkestan, who has been running a tuition centre for the past 20 years in a village near Vridhachalam, sexually assaulted girl on March 14.
The girl, who joined the centre just a few days before that, told her mother about the incident. Her mother lodged a complaint with Vridhachalam all-women police who registered a case and arrested him.
