Training Courses: World Skill Center (WSC) invites applications for one-year training courses | Bhubaneswar News
Bhubaneswar: World Skill Center (WSC) in Bhubaneswar is now accepting applications for one-year advanced training courses offered under the ‘school of engineering’ (SoE) and ‘school of services’ (SoS), designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
Students can apply online for the 2024-25 session and the last date for submission is August 30.The selection of candidates will be based on an entrance test conducted online by WSC. This initiative is a part of the Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) under the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, govt of Odisha.
The School of Engineering has introduced a new course in ‘Precision Engineering’.
This course includes modules such as engineering, drawing and inspection techniques, engineering process (turning), 3D CAD/CAM applications, CNC sheet metal fabrication, and grinding. Apart from the new courses, the SoE also offered courses in mechanical and electrical services, mechatronics among others.
