Tourism Boost: Hoteliers urge BJP govt in Odisha to boost tourism in next 100 days | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: To boost tourism potential of the state, hoteliers here have urged the BJP govt in the state to amend the existing tourism policy as they failed to attract enough numbers of foreign as well as domestic tourists.
The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) has readied a “100 days proposal” suggesting ways to improve infrastructure and ambience to attract more tourists to the state.
In the proposal, the association suggests the govt to hold a stakeholders meeting at the earliest with involvement of travel trade organisations and bring the necessary changes in Odisha Tourism Policy, which was introduced in 2022. The association says for growth of tourism sector in Odisha, it is essential to improve the tourism infrastructure. tnn
