HYDERABAD: Five of the top 20 rankers in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025, the results of which were released on Monday, are from the IIT Hyderabad zone, which includes students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.The zone topper is Arnav Singh, who secured an all-India 9th rank, followed by Vadlamudi Lokesh with the 10th rank.The other three students in the top 20 are Dharmana Gnana Rutvik Sai, who secured the 18th rank; Vangala Ajay Reddy, who stood 19th; and Avanaganti Anirudh Reddy, who secured the 20th position.The state also has several category toppers.Ajay is the all-India topper in the General-EWS category, while Rutvik leads in the OBC-NCL category.Korikana Rasagnya, who secured the 78th rank, is the female topper from the state. Many students who achieved top ranks in other zones are also from corporate colleges such as Narayana Group and Sri Chaitanya Group, which have their main campuses in the Telugu states.From the IIT Hyderabad zone, there are 23 students in the top 100, 57 in the top 200, and 78 in the top 300. A total of 12,946 candidates from the zone qualified in the examination.
