Tiranga Yatra: BJP to observe Har Ghar Tiranga campaign | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: BJP, state unit, will observe Har Ghar Tiranga campaign from Aug 11 to 14 in the run up to Independence Day to instil the spirit of unity and integrity among people.
BJP, state unit, stated that on Aug 9, Kranti Diwas will be observed to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the country under the direction of BJP president J P Nadda.In every district, local martyrs will be commemorated with activities like cycle rallies, marches, and bike rallies.
“From Aug 11 to 14, Tiranga Yatra will be held along with cleanliness drives around statues of great personalities and from Aug 13 to 15, Har Ghar Tiranga will be hoisted in every home and institution,” said BJP state president Manmohan Samal on Tuesday. On Aug 14, Partition Horrors Remembrance Day will be observed across the state.tnn

The BJP launched the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to celebrate India’s 75th Independence anniversary, promoting patriotism and exposing alleged Congress wrongdoings. The campaign, led by the youth wing, will include rallies, cleanliness drives, and flag hoisting at every home from August 11-14. Defence minister Rajnath Singh urged citizens to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with enthusiasm to commemorate Independence Day. He encouraged people to hoist the national flag from August 9 to August 15 and share selfies online. Singh reminded the nation of the past two years’ spirited participation and called for similar zeal this year.
Peaceniks under Hind-Pak Dosti Manch and Socialist Party (India) organized a march from Mansa to Attari border from August 9-14, lighting candles at Attari-Wagah border on August 14-15 midnight with Pakistan peace activists. A peace conference is also planned in December in Lahore to urge both governments to resume the peace process.
