Three Arrested for Gang-Raping 18-Year-Old Girl in Sundargarh | Bhubaneswar News
Rourkela: Police in Sundargarh district on Thursday arrested three, including two minors, for allegedly gang raping an 18-year-old girl three days ago. The girl’s 17-year-old boyfriend and two other youths aged 15 and 23 were among those arrested. According to the police, the three had come to the girl’s village to attend a festival and stayed at their relatives’ house.
On Sept 16, around 11 pm, the girl’s boyfriend called her and took her to a secluded spot in the village, where his two male friends later joined them and raped her one by one.
The girl told her parents about the rape. On Sept 17, she and her parents filed an FIR at the Kutra police station against the three. Medical examinations were conducted on the victim and the accused. tnn
