Mumbai: Police have arrested a thief from Uttar Pradesh carrying a Rs 50,000 reward from Naigaon. Rehimullah Ansari (32) and his accomplices Upendra Soni, Rohit Pandey and Shekhar Mishra carried out thefts in parked cars in UP. While the aides were arrested, Ansari, the mastermind, was on the run.
The Naigaon crime unit was recently informed by their UP counterparts that Ansari was staying in Vasai’s Kaman area.Police teams from Naigaon and UP tracked him down and nabbed him. Ansari committed thefts in parked vehicles in the Vasai region too, said police. tnn
