HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested S Surender Reddy, assistant engineer of TGSPDCL’s Jeedimetla division, for accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000.
ACB officials caught Reddy red-handed while accepting the bribe from a complainant in exchange for providing a work estimate for shifting an 11KV line and laying cable for the complainant’s building.
Chemical tests conducted on the fingers of his right hand and his trouser pocket were positive, confirming bribery charges.
