Telangana govt reshuffles 7 IPS officers; Abhilasha Bisht, Charu Sinha among key appointees | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: The Telangana govt on late Wednesday night reshuffled seven IPS officers, including officers of DG and additional director general rank.DG rank officer Abhilasha Bisht, who returned to the Telangana cadre from AP following a court order, was posted as director of RGVRR Telangana Police Academy. Another DG rank officer, Shikha Goel, who was holding multiple posts, was retained as director of TG Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).Charu Sinha, an additional director general of police rank who returned to Telangana state after completion of her central deputation, was posted as additional DG (CID) along with full additional charge of the Women Safety Wing and director of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).IPS officer Tafseer Iqbal, Secretary Minority Welfare, was transferred and posted as deputy inspector general (Charminar). Asifabad superintendent of police DV Srinivas was transferred to Medak in the existing vacancy, and Hyderabad South East DCP Patil Kantilal Subhash replaced Srinivas in Asifabad.Hyderabad Special Branch DCP Chaitanya Kumar is the new DCP South East.
