Telangana bar council condemns terrorist attack on Pahalgam tourists | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: The Bar Council of Telangana has condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam two days ago and urged all bar associations in the state to show solidarity with the grieving families.
To protest the brutal attack, all bar members will wear a black ribbon on April 25, and bar associations have been asked to pass a resolution condemning the attack, informed A. Narsimha Reddy, Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana, on Thursday.
The council described the attack on tourists as barbaric, shocking, and deeply disturbing to the nation.
In a statement, it stated that such acts of terrorism serve no purpose and are a cowardly crime. The council emphasized that such actions should have no place in a civilised society.
The council also urged the Union Government to hold the perpetrators accountable and ensure they face rigorous punishment for their actions.
