Tejashwi Yadav Urges BJP President Nadda to Advocate for Special Status for Bihar | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Friday criticised BJP president and Union minister JP Nadda for not supporting the grant of special category status to Bihar.
Talking to mediapersons, Tejashwi said “Khali ghume hi na, kam se kam Bihar ke liye kuchh karen’ (Nadda Ji only toured the state, do something for it),” Tejashwi said, adding that the state deserves special category status.
The BJP reacted sharply, saying the RJD leader perhaps wants the party president to ignore the crowds of devotees celebrating Chhath. “Perhaps Tejashwi doesn’t want Nadda Ji to meet the devotees celebrating Chhath and convey his respect to them,” Union minister Giriraj Singh said.
AIMIM spokesperson Aadil Hasan also criticized Nadda for “doing nothing for Bihar residents returning to their homeland during Chhath.”
