Tejashwi forms sub-committees to prepare for polls | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Opposition INDIA bloc coordination committee chairman and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday announced the formation of several sub-committees to advise him on various aspects of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, scheduled for Oct-Nov this year.Notably, the manifesto sub-committee includes four members from the RJD, compared to three from Congress and two from the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), led by Mukesh Sahani, signalling the RJD’s dominant role in shaping the alliance’s poll agenda.Members from the RJD, Congress, VIP and the Left parties – CPI, CPI(ML) and CPI(M) – have been included across the sub-committees.These panels will submit reports and recommendations to the chairman of the coordination committee periodically, who will take the final call on key decisions.The publicity sub-committee includes RJD MPs Sanjay Yadav and Abhay Kushwaha, Bhola Yadav (RJD), Mohd Javed, Manoj Ram, and Sameer Kumar Singh (Congress), Shashi Yadav and Prakash Kumar (CPI-ML), Sandeep Yadav and BK Singh (VIP), Janaki Paswan and Sanjay Yadav (CPI) as well as Ahmed Ali and Vinod Sharma (CPI-M).The manifesto sub-committee features MPs Manoj Jha and Sudhakar Singh, Anwar Pasha, and Prof Subodh Mehta (RJD); Amitabh Dubey, Karuna Sagar, and Shiv Jatan Thakur (Congress); Meena Tiwari and Prof Abhyudaya (CPI-ML); Sarvodaya Sharma (CPI-M); Prof Dinesh Sahni and Md Nurul Hoda (VIP); and Prof M Jabbar Alam and Rambabu Kumar (CPI).The media and communication sub-committee comprises Nawal Kishore, Priyanka Bharti, and Sarika Paswan (RJD); Abhay Dubey and Rajesh Rathorre (Congress); Kumar Parvez and Kamlesh Sharma (CPI-ML); Dev Jyoti and Neelabh Kumar (VIP); Nivedita and Ajay Kumar Singh (CPI); and Awadhesh Kumar and Arun Kumar Mishra (CPI-M).Additional committees have also been formed to handle social media strategy and matters related to the Election Commission and legal affairs.
