Teenager Kills Sister’s Lover, Arrested | Bhubaneswar News


Kendrapada: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy in Jajpur district on Wednesday on charges of killing his sister’s lover after they were found in a compromising position at home on Sept 5. After the murder, the 39-year-old mother of the accused tried to destroy evidence for which she was also arrested, sub-divisional police officer (Jajpur) Sanjay Kumar Patnaik said.
The boy was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), Jajpur. His bail plea was rejected and he was remanded to the observation home in Angul.
The the body of the deceased, a 17-year-old Plus II student, was found from a creek with multiple injuries two days after he went missing. “The accused had dumped the body into the creek after the murder,” Patnaik said.
