Team India victory parade at Marine Drive: Dozens of mobile phones reported missing | Mumbai News – Times of India


MUMBAI: Over five dozen mobile phones were reported missing during Team India’s victory parade at Marine Drive on Thursday. Besides this, city police also found around a dozen mobile phones and returned them to their owners.
A source from the Marine Drive police station said that 60 people approached the police station stating that their mobile phones were missing.Moreover, four people informed the police about their missing phones through online complaints.
“The mobiles which we found were returned to their owners when they came to the police station,” said an officer.
A total of 12 children who had gone missing were also found by the police on Thursday evening and reunited with their families. A total of 1,000 police personnel were deployed for bandobast from Girgaum Chowpatty to NCPA, said an officer.
