The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana, has officially declared the SSC (Secondary School Certificate) Results for the academic year 2024–25. A total of 7,92,494 students appeared for the Class 10 board examinations held earlier this year, and 7,53,142 candidates have successfully cleared them. This brings the overall pass percentage to 95.03%, reflecting a strong academic showing across the state. The results were made available online through the official websites of the board, enabling students to access their marks digitally. With a near-universal pass rate and notable gender-based trends, the outcome highlights both academic consistency and the continuing educational progress within the state.

Girls lead in performance

One of the most striking highlights of this year’s results is the continued academic dominance of girls over boys. Out of 4,19,316 girls who appeared for the exam, 4,05,472 passed, achieving a commendable pass percentage of 96.70%. This not only reflects their academic dedication but also signals the growing educational empowerment of girls in Telangana.

Boys’ performance remains strong

Boys, too, showed commendable performance, with 3,73,178 candidates appearing for the exams. Of these, 3,47,670 were declared pass, resulting in a pass percentage of 93.16%. Although slightly behind their female counterparts, the figures still reflect a robust performance, indicative of sustained efforts by students and schools alike.

Inclusivity reflected in the results

This year’s results also recognized the efforts of transgender students, maintaining the spirit of inclusive education. One transgender student appeared and successfully passed the examination, registering a 100% pass rate for this category.
