Bhubaneswar: Biswajit Pradhan, the sub-registrar of Khandagiri division, was suspended by the revenue and disaster management department for alleged irregularities in duty. The department issued an order stating that Pradhan shall not leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission from the collector, Khurda. Sources said Pradhan was involved in fraudulent activities in the registration of part plots. Earlier, in Dec last year, a junior clerk from the Khandagiri sub-registrar office was arrested on graft charge. TNN
