Bhubaneswar: Govt on Wednesday dissolved the State Planning Board as chief minister Mohan Majhi is planning to appoint a new set of members.
The CM approved a proposal for dissolution of the planning body, a govt statement said.
While dissolution of the board was anticipated after a change of guard as its members are political appointees, appointed by the previous govt, the dissolution comes a day after the Centre appointed new members in Niti Aayog, the central planning body.
