State book fest ends | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: The 6th Odisha State Book Festival ended on Tuesday with transactions above Rs 3 crore. Nearly 150 publishers and booksellers took part in the 10-day event. More than 400 stalls had been set up at the venue. Special thematic pavilions based on Dr Harekrushna Mahtab, Buddhist monuments in Odisha, and the lives of freedom fighters like Birsa Munda were the central attractions. Suryabanshi Suraj, minister of Odia language, literature and culture, was the guest of honour at the valedictory function. TNN
