Special Trains Introduced on Saharsa-Sirhind and Darbhanga-Sirhind Routes | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: The railways has introduced two special trains on the Saharsa-Sirhind (Punjab) and Darbhanga-Sirhind routes from Tuesday onwards to clear the rush of passengers. The Saharsa-Sirhind special (05551/05552) left Saharsa on Tuesday at 7.30pm. The train will reach Sirhind on Thursday at 12.05am.
On its return, the train will leave Sirhind on June 27 (Thursday) at 2am and reach Saharsa on Friday at 9.45am, ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra said, adding the special train has a load composition of one 3AC and 20 sleeper coaches.
Similarly, the Darbhanga-Sirhind special (05585/05586) left Darbhanga at 5.30am on Tuesday, and it will reach Sirhind the next day at 4.30am. On its return, the train will leave Sirhind on Wednesday at 6.30am and reach Darbhanga the next day at 10am, he said, adding the load composition of the special train includes one 2AC, 14 sleeper, and three general coaches.
