Special Trains Introduced from Patna to Rajgir and Kiul to Clear Shrawan Rush | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: The railways on Tuesday introduced two special trains to Rajgir and Kiul from capital Patna to cope with the ongoing Shrawani Mela rush. Besides, the East Central Railway (ECR) has extended the services of at least 15 special passenger trains, mostly to southern and western India.
According to ECR’s chief public relations officer Saraswati Chandra, the services of Patna-Secunderabad special (03253) have been extended from August 8 to September 30.It will leave Patna every Monday and Wednesday. Another Secunderabad-Patna special (07256) will be in operation from August 9 to September 29, leaving Secunderabad every Friday. Hyderabad-Patna special (07255) will run till October 2, leaving the Telangana capital every Wednesday.
Ahmedabad-Patna special (09493) will be in operation from August 4 to 27, leaving the Gujarat city every Sunday and the state capital every Tuesday.
From Danapur, special train (03225) to Secunderabad will be in operation from August 1 to September 26, leaving every Thursday. On its return journey from Secunderabad, the Danapur special (03226) will run every Sunday from August 4 to September 29.
Likewise, services of Vapi-Danapur special (09063) have been extended till December 31. It leaves Vapi every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Danapur-Bhestan (Gujarat) special (09064) will be in operation till January 2, 2025, leaving the Bihar town every Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
Muzaffarpur-Pune special (05289/05290) will be in operation from August 3 to September 2, leaving every Saturday. On its return journey, it will depart from Pune every Monday.
In addition, Gwalior-Barauni special (04137/04138) will be in operation from August 4 to 29. It will leave Gwalior every Sunday and Wednesday, and Barauni every Monday and Thursday. Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad special (02831/02832) will be in operation daily from August 31 to September 30.
