Keonjhar: Keonjhar police arrested six persons on Tuesday in connection with the assault on junior mining officer (JMO) Suraj Hembram and his team near Anandapur. The accused have been identified as Rajesh Kumar Sha, Diptiranjan Nayak, Diptiranjan Barik, Promad Kumar Swain, Alok Kumar Sha, and Prafulla Chandra Pradhan. Police have seized a jeep, lathis, and mobile phones from the accused. Further investigation is underway.
