Six Arrested For Burglary |


Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police on Saturday arrested six persons, including a minor boy, in connection with a house burglary that took place under Bharatpur police limits on Sept 11.
The rented house of one Chinmaya Kumar Dalei was burgled in Bharatpur. It involved loot of gold, silver and diamond ornaments and Rs 70,000 cash. Police have also recovered stolen materials worth Rs 20 lakh from them.It includes 70 grams of diamond ornaments, 250 grams of gold ornaments, 190 grams of silver ornaments, one TV, four laptops and three mobile phones.tnn

Trichy police apprehended two juveniles linked to robbery and goat theft cases. A 17-year-old, with accomplices, robbed a man of his gold chain and cash near Theppakulam bus stop. Another juvenile was arrested for stealing goats from a farm in Thirupparaithurai. Police successfully recovered the stolen items.
