The arrested persons have been identified as Guddu Kumar alias Chitranjan Kumar, Ravishankar Kumar, Pradip Kumar alias Suraj Kumar, Dashai Ram, Nagendra Ram and Shri Bhagwan Baitha.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav on Tuesday said, “Over 100 unidentified people and 45 named accused in the FIR had on June 23 attacked a police team led by Priyanka Gupta, the Agiaon Bazar police station SHO, who had gone to conduct a raid against the illicit liquor trade at Khanni Kala village. The accused people had attacked the police team with lathi, sword, sickle and stones. Many police personnel had sustained injuries in the incident. The rampaging mob also had managed to get the main accused liquor smuggler, Sudarshan Mushar, freed from the police custody. Earlier the police team had seized 10 litres of illicit liquor from the house of Mushar.”
Raids are going on to nab the other accused persons, the Bhojpur SP said.
