Govt project to empower hearing impaired

Bhubaneswar: To promote sign language and empower the hearing impaired, the state govt, in partnership with Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech & Hearing Disability and Odisha Rising Foundation, launched the ‘SANKET – Mo Bhasha’ project at Janla on Monday on the occasion of the International Day of Sign Language.
The project is designed to promote awareness, provide training and create opportunities for the hearing impaired by offering sign language interpreter training.
