Shocking Murders: Fishmonger Arrested for Dismembering Sister’s Boyfriend in Gorai | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: Mohammad Sattar, the fishmonger arrested for murdering his sister’s boyfriend and dismembering his body, was remanded in police custody till Nov 19 by a magistrate’s court on Thursday.
The body of Raghunandan Paswan (21) was found chopped into seven parts and packed in plastic tubs in Gorai village on Nov 10. Police investigations revealed that Paswan lived in Pune and came to the city for an outing with friends on Oct 31. He drunk-dialled a phone number from which his girlfriend used to call him. The number belonged to Sattar.
The police said Sattar was opposed to the relationship between his underage sister and Paswan. He lived alone at Bhayander and invited Paswan to his home under the pretext of missing his sister late on Oct 31. But he sent his sister away. He got Paswan to drink excessively and then allegedly killed him and dismembered the body.
The next day, he packed the body parts in tubs and gunny bags and hired an auto to dispose of these at Gorai.
