Sharad Pawar sets up shadow cabinet, 100-day task force to monitor Devendra Fadnavis govt | Mumbai News – The Times of India

MUMBAI: A day after CM Devendra Fadnavis reviewed his 100-day action plan for the govt, NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar set up a shadow cabinet for monitoring the performance of the Mahayuti govt in the state’s five revenue divisions. In addition, Pawar set up a ‘100-days task force‘ to evaluate the govt’s work in all sectors.
Pawar had a meeting with party leaders for reviving the organization at all levels particularly after the defeat in the assembly elections and for drafting an action plan for the civic and zilla parishad elections.
According to Pawar’s directives, Jaiprakash Dandegaonkar, Shashikant Shinde, Jeetendra Awhad, Rajesh Tope, Rohit Pawar, Eknath Khadse and Harshawardhan Patil have been given responsibility of different districts for strengthening the party network. It is expected these leaders will tour districts and give opportunities to new and young faces in the organization.
An NCP leader said Tope and Dandegaonkar have been given responsibility for Marathwada, Shingane and Deshmukh for Vidarbha, Awhad and Sunil Bhusara for Konkan region and ex-minister Patil for Western and North Maharashtra.
NCP (SP) MP Amol Kolhe said key decisions were taken, with a task force set up to monitor the performance of the Fadnavis govt in its first 100 days. Meanwhile, Pawar appointed Fahad Ahmed as leader of national youth wing of the party. Fahad is husband of actor Swara Bhaskar.
