Severe Attack in Bhubaneswar: Man Assaulted with Surgical Blade by Masked Assailants |
Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants chased a man and attacked him with a surgical blade at Badagada on Monday night. Police have launched a manhunt to nab them.
The injured youth was identified as Dipak Pradha (38), a resident of Badagada locality. The miscreants, who were a motorcycle, had masks on their faces. Before Dipak could realise anything, they kept attacking him with the blade, a police officer said, quoting Dipak’s complaint. Police suspect past enmity could be a reason behind the attack.
“It is being verified if Dipak was involved in any enmity in the past. We will also analyse technical data to nail the accused,” said a police officer. Dipak’s family, however, ruled out enmity with anybody in the recent past.
