Seven universities appoint new registrars | Patna News – Times of India



Patna: Governor-cum-chancellor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Monday appointed new registrars in seven universities of the state. These appointments have been made by the governor in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 15 of the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 (as amended up to date), according to a notification issued by the Raj Bhavan here.
Patliputra University’s Sanskrit department teacher Shalini has been appointed as the registrar of Patna University, whereas Patna University teacher of applied economics and commerce department, N K Jha, has been made registrar of Patliputra University.
Patna University English department teacher Samir Kumar Sharma has been appointed new registrar of Nalanda Open University and Bipin Kumar of Patliputra University’s economics department has been made the new registrar of Magadh University.
Yet another teacher of Patliputra University’s economics department, Brajesh Pati Tripathi, has been made the registrar of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, while Narayan Das of MSM Samta College-Vaishali has been appointed registrar of Jai Prakash University-Chhapra. Similarly, the principal of SRPS College-Jaintpur Bipin Kumar Rai has been appointed the registrar of B N Mandal University.
Earlier, the governor had appointed Aprajita Krishna of Patna Women’s College the new registrar of BRA Bihar University.
