Chennai: The sport development authority of Tamil Nadu (Sdat) has opened applications for six special sports hostels that provide professional training, accommodation, and nutritious food for college students excelling in sports. Students can apply online. The last date to submit applications is April 6, by 5pm.
State-level selection trials will be held on April 8 from 7am at designated venues in Chennai. Eligible candidates will be notified via SMS and WhatsApp.
Applicants must be 17 years old as of Jan 1, 2025, and enrolled in a college degree or postgraduate programme. They should have secured top positions in state or national-level sports competitions.
